"This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. We stayed at the lodge. It has been completely updated, but the rooms are still very small. The room was functional though. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave. There was a microwave to use down the hall. There are no bad views from the lodge as far as I could tell. "This was far and away the best "budget" hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was HUGE compared other places, immaculately clean, and the staff were all very courteous and friendly. The kid of treatment you'd expect from rural folks who treat everyone as family. I can't recommend this highly enough. If you're planning a stay in this area, don't even bother looking elsewhere. "Our stay at the Shenandoah Crossing was wonderful! The setting was beautiful and the cabin was awesome! Very clean and modern with the rustic feel. All staff at the lodge were helpful and very nice! Our family enjoyed our stay very much! We’re already talking about making this a yearly trip! Thank you! "Everything was great with the exception of the check in process. Since this property is a timeshare, the owner is to book the rsvp under the travelers name. Checking in was a nightmare & the staff made it worse they urged me to leave because I was “scammed” after my family & I drove for hours to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday. I will say, when I contacted the host they were pretty quick to fix things and I was able to check in fine. The property is beautiful. Everything was great otherwise."
