"We had a lovely room overlooking the river. We were informed the hotel is under renovation, so the main dining area was closed off. We decided not to eat here for this reason. The temporary dining area looked too small and crowded. The renovations are so new, it felt like we were the first to stay in the room. "We visited at the end of December, which is off season. We were the only guests. The staff took us on hikes and made dinner, lunch, and breakfast just for us. They were fully staffed as it is a working ranch. Rooms were excellent directly facing the river. The setting is magnificent with huge mountains and mesas surrounding the property. We loved it and the team there. "
