"Great welcome. Manager/owner he was at the entrance to welcome us in as we got out the car and offered to carry bags which was lovely. Asked if we needed breakfast but we didnt as heading off early. Quirky rooms but all well decorated and tea/coffee, ironing board. Had air con and fan as a top floor hot room so good was there already. Only a one night stop over but would definitely recommend/ return in the future."

"Yes we both enjoyed our stay at Somerville house..we stayed at the rear of the property with excellent views of the garden & beyond the town. The room was very good..bed very comfy & a great breakfast the next day .. The house also came with its own history of days gone by !!! Would definately go back there some time . "Arrived late and as a booking for 3 we had expectations that the sofa bed would be made up for us or that bedding would be available to set it up ourselves. We had to wait for some time for the only staff available who was running the bar to make up the bed. This sofa bed was not at all comfortable. Such a pity for a lovely place. The 4 stars have been awarded because the staff member was extremely apologetic. "

"An excellent 2 night stay, lovely accommodation and restaurant offering very good evening meals and first class breakfast options. The only niggle would be the vanity sink in what was an exceptionally large and well appointed wet room. Would definitely stay again"

"Great food and if you're staying they reserve a table for you in case you want to eat dinner there. Huge home cooked portions. There's nothing in the immediate vicinity so if you want quiet you'll find it, but Ledbury is a close drive away if you want small town local shops. I would stay again. "

"Lovely accommodation, very clean and safe. Lovely views from the property especially the guest lounge upstairs. Bharat and Ann looked after us very well including Vegan option for breakfast. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere in the area. Short drive (could walk it if sufficient time) into Monmouth. Would also recommend eating at Estero Lounge in Monmouth. Have fun."

"Good stay but was spoilt by the fact there was no Internet and the tv reception was very poor. The en-suite had a huge spa bath which was great fun however the bedroom was smaller than the en-suite . "

"Loved the stylish Italian design and the Amalfi Suite layout. It felt luxurious. It was also really centrally located just off thr high street. It was very comfortable. We had a couple of basic cleaning issues, which were not corrected during the stay, which has resulted in us not giving 5⭐️ for everything."

"Myself and my partner stayed here for a friends wedding. It was perfect - we got the family room just so we had a bit more space. The kitchen was very functional, had all we needed, so we just brought the food. The bed was comfortable, clean and convenient bathroom. I liked the easy access to the room that didnt require a physical key. The instructions book had everything we needed including troubleshoots when the tv didnt quite work (the advice in the handbook fixed this though!). Stroud was...

"We stayed for one night for a quick stop by in Cheltenham and were totally drawn to the stylish and luxurious finish of the hotel. It’s a super cool destination right in the heart of Cheltenham with a real vibe over the weekend in its bars and restaurants. We opted for the smallest room type (cosy) which was beautifully decorated and kitted out with premium bedding and quality products. Although the room was sufficient for a night, our main comment was that there were not enough surfaces to put things on especially for two people and it was a little too compact. The staff were really helpful and we enjoyed being able to order breakfast to the room from the restaurant. Overall, we would stay again but probably upgrade to a better room. "

"The hotel is really nice. The room was spacious and very clean and had everything you need such as comfy bed, good hairdryer, iron and TV. Bathroom was nice, big and very clean too. Shame I did not have time to use the pool. I will come back if I am in the area. "
