"What a wonderful place to getaway for a few days. The hosts were beyond gracious & the accommodations were outstanding. It was so peaceful sitting on the back deck, hearing the rooster, & enjoying the beauty of the property. The inside is decorated beautifully & the bed was like sleeping at home!! Mike was nice enough to even start a fire for us which made it even that more enjoyable. Would certainly recommend this to anyone!! Thanks for having us!"

"As a family that lives in different parts of the US, it was nice to find a central location to meet and spend a weekend together at. The house was huge, with lots of living room space. The bedrooms were great in size too. The bathrooms were nice too. Something that we didn't expect to enjoy, there are no TVs. "We had a great stay! Friends and I visited for Buckeye Lake Winterfest and had a lovely time. The property is situated very close to the lake and was a quick walk to the docks where the kickoff event took place. It is also such a cute and welcoming property! We loved the hot tub in the cold winter weather and being able to cozy up and watch a movie after being out all day. Thanks to Krissie for being an inviting and communicative host! "

"We were quite pleased with our stay at the Bancroft Cottage. The accomadations were excellent. The amenities were fine. The cottage was well stocked and supplied with everything one would need for a stay. Even though it was in the heart of the town it was quiet and peaceful. We will most likely be back when we return to Granville in the future. Highly recommended!"

"Just a little disappointed in the actual location of this home, as it appears in the description that it is on the lake which it isnt, its across the street and you cannot look out and actually gaze upon the lake. Upon our arrival I was a little disappointed the stairs going up to the door were covered in snow and ice. There were no shovels or snow tools to remove it and it was a little dangerous taking my 88 yr old Mom up those steps. Later I found a broom and dust pan and used the dust pan...
