Escape to a fully renovated 2-bedroom haven nestled in the Silver Star Mountain Ski Resort's foothills. Gaze upon unobstructed mountain and city vistas, with a prime location for skiing and city adventures. Nature trails beckon, and the ski hill is just 15 minutes away, while Lake Okanagan, a mere 10-minute drive, offers summer beach delights.

This luminous retreat boasts a capacious kitchen, its grand windows framing awe-inspiring panoramas. Revel in the snug, inviting ambiance, especially cherished after a day on the slopes, as you bask by the electric fireplace in the living room.

The kitchen dazzles with stainless steel amenities, a cook's haven equipped with a stove top and a Keurig coffee marvel. It's an entertainer's paradise, replete with tableware and cutlery. The living room boasts a generous 50-inch flat screen, complete with Netflix and diverse streaming apps, all accessible via wireless Internet.

Amidst this splendid dwelling are two tranquil bedrooms. The first boasts a queen-sized haven and a 32" flat screen TV. The second beckons with another queen-sized oasis and abundant closet space. Convenience reigns with an in-suite washer and dryer.

This is the coveted Lower Floor, a 2-bed, 1-bath retreat. Long-term sojourns, up to 3 months, are warmly welcomed for the 2-bedroom suite.

Seamless arrival awaits, courtesy of self-check-in procedures. Expect detailed check-in directives, including door codes, thoughtfully dispatched by your gracious hosts.

The Foothills enclave, cradled in Vernon BC, owes its name to its magnificent geography, nestled at the base of Silver Star Mountain. Here, myriad homes embrace sweeping views of the trio of lakes—Swan Lake, Kalamalka Lake, and Okanagan Lake. As night descends, the cityscape paints a dazzling vista.

Parking gracefully accommodates in the driveway, but revelry is checked at the door—no parties, smoking, or undue noise past 11pm. The garage remains off-limits, exclusively for owners. Driveway sharing harmonizes, reserving room for 3 vehicles, or 2 for the lower suite. Serenity reigns during 11pm-7am, a nod to considerate neighbors. Parties and smoking are NOT permitted and fines will be given. Pets are welcome with approval of owner.

We went out to Vernon to visit our daughter. She has a small apartment and we wanted a large place so we can all meet together comfortably. The place we rented was beautiful and spacious and we spent a lot of time on the deck. We also cooked on the bbq. We enjoyed our stay, thanks for the hospitality!

All the comforts of home
We have stayed at this property a few times now to hold family gatherings around Christmas, and it’s perfect for that. The decorations made the space festive and all the needed appliances and utensils helped us prepare holiday meals. Will definitely be back.

The owner did not make clear in advance of our booking it was a downstairs suite which meant 15 stairs down and 15 feet of gravel to drag suitcases and a difficult walk for our friend in a boot cast. The owner was very responsive and helpful to all our inquiries and requests for assistance.

We had no issues at all with the property and the views were amazing to wake up to every morning with a cup of coffee. Her place was very nicely decorated, clean and filled with all things you may need in your stay. View from this place is breathtaking and enjoyable from every spot. Amazing property
This home is new and spotless. The common spaces are huge, bigger than can be shown in photos. The furniture, patio set, and beds were all very comfortable. It had everything we could have possibly needed. Location was great. Hostess communication was the best I’ve ever experienced (she phoned me right away to discuss my concerns regarding the forest fires) and her recommendations for local activities were spot on. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay here in the future!

Great family reunion in Vernon
We enjoyed our stay. This unit is large and bright and has all the amenities you would need for short vacation or if you prefer a long stay. Perfect suite with a view
This is my second stay, having rented both the upstairs and now the lower suite. Christine is a great host, who makes you feel extremely welcome and wants to ensure you have everything you need. The suite is stocked with everything we could possibly need plus more, including spices. The extra bonus of the lower suite, was that the outdoor space has enough shade in the outdoor patio/ table space. We were able to choose to sit in sun or shade as we ate dinner outside, enjoying the view of the lake. The location is perfect if you plan to hike or bike at silverstar and still wish to enjoy the lakes in the same day as the house has quick access to both.
