" we loved it! We would suggest: another shelf in the bathroom, a kleenex box, coffee creamer, pizza cutter, large cutting board (or something large enough to put pizza on), instructions about the front door lock. We loved the TV, the loft (except the wiggly ladder), the shower heads, the decor, the games, ooh! The fuzzy rug in the living room was TO DIE FOR. The heaters were great. Plus, it's super close to downtown hamilton.. it was clean and had about everything we needed!! "

"Three generations stayed at this property as we were in the area for a family wedding in Darby. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Bitterroot Valley while walking next to the river and driving the Old Darby Road. We even got in a little fly fishing just out the back door. The house is very well taken care of and the host was super easy to work with. "

"Second time here and both stays were great. Extremely relaxing and a wonderful way to unplug and recharge. This home was spotless and every want was at our fingertips. Great location yards from the river and five minutes from a store for snacks and all the rid bits you forgot. We will be back again."

"We have family in the nearby area of Stevensville and have stayed at Luana‘s home two years now. We couldn’t wait to get back after last year and we made sure to spend a considerably longer time this year because we enjoyed it so much. There were only two beds and two half bunks to sleep in. 2) The house smelled like it had a mouse infestation (collaborated by the numerous mouse traps we found set in the kitchen drawers, along with mouse turds in one.) "The Birdhouse was such a nice place to stay. We come to Montana every summer, with my parents. Everything was available for cooking at home. The hosts left very thoughtful guests. Wished we would have ate the elk that was left for us. We were in the area the fly fish the Bitterroot, and was within 45 minutes of some of the best fishing I’ve had in years. "We stayed further out than we would have because Missoula was impossible to get a hotel. It’s a great property, wish we would have had more time to do the hikes the hosts outlined in the guide. Wasn’t the trip for it but if you’re in the area to explore and get the remote mountain this is a great property. The cabin is stocked better than the guide promises. "
