Welcome to Casa Celeste, strategically located in the center of São Miguel island, in Ponta Garça parish. A parish with incredible charm and welcoming population, just 15 minutes away from Furnas, known for its famous hot baths, spas, steaming geysers, lush Terra Nostra gardens, and great restaurants.

At Casa Celeste you can step out onto the wrap around terrace and enjoy an incredible south view of the ocean, with majestic sunrises to the east and watch the sunset spectacularly behind the towns local lighthouse, just a few hundred meters from the home.
If cooking is your thing, then take advantage of a very large, fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel gas stove and appliances, a large island and coffee maker.
Do you need to get in a little work? (Hopefully Not) but if you do, there is no need to worry, this home comes equipped with a fast wifi connection that is even accessible from the lounge chairs next to the private in ground pool! Or enjoy a glass of wine and the ocean view from patio, next to the pool.
If you have had a long day of adventure and great food, and have the urge to wind down by watching your favorite show, just log into your Netflix or Amazon account on one of our 4K smart TVs.
Do you have a large family? or some friends do you want to share the home with? Don't worry this large spacious home comes with 4 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms one of which is next to the pool! The main bathroom even comes with a deep jacuzzi tub and double sinks.
• The master bedroom comes complete with a king size bed, large walk-in closet and amazing ocean view with a walkout terrace
• Bedroom number 1 & 2 comes with a king size bed,+ one single, large closet, ocean view and walk-out terrace with the best view of the light house.
• Office room number 3 comes with a large confortable space large closet and ocean and mountain view to the west
• The 4th bedroom is on the main level with a queen size bed and large closet. Great for those with difficulty climbing stairs, next to the second full bathroom with walk-in shower.

Exceeds Expectations
This experience was one of the rare instances where the reality exceeds one's expectations. Everything from the booking, the communications with the owner/managing agent, to the house itself was first rate. A wealth of information was provided both before and during our stay. Questions were answered promptly and recommendations that were given were excellent. The owner also helped by booking a charter boat for us (Azores Fishing, by the way, was excellent!). The house was beautiful and the view from various spots throughout, breathtaking. Everything needed was provided and the house and grounds were spotless and in excellent condition. The house is somewhat off the beaten track but most places on the island are. We would highly recommend Celeste House to others and return in a heart beat. Thanks to all who made this a trip to remember!

Beautiful House with great amenities
We stayed in this house for 1 week and had an amazing experience. The house is very clean and organized and the amenities are above and beyond. My daughters loved spending time in the heated pool and having an outdoor washroom was a plus. Having the option for A/C in every room was amazing. We had to contact the management team once when we lost power in the kitchen and they were very responsive and walked us through getting everything back and running. They also emailed us and made sure everything was running smoothly in the middle of the week.

A great place to stay
We found Casa Celeste to be as beautiful as the pictures in the booking. The outdoor space and pool were perfect for relaxing after the days adventure. The location of the house was convenient to all the island's attractions and it was in a quiet neighborhood. We encountered a few problems during our stay (an ant invasion and the refrigerator stopped working) but the property manager and the owners (who were lovely) were very responsive and addressed the problems promptly. The property managers were very easy to communicate with, which was a big plus! We would definitely stay there again.

It was a great property with a lovely pool area that we would have enjoyed more if we had the time to stay in the Azores longer than 5 days. Special out out to the house managers who were extremely helpful in making use feel welcome and in making dinner reservations and when we had an issue with a rental car.

Great place in Ponta Garca!
The house is great. We stayed over Christmas with two parents and 4 kids (20 - 27). The house itself has everything you need to cook and the pool is wonderful. We walked down the street t see the sunrise every morning. There are two grocery stores within 5 minutes of the house. We preferred the Meu Super Mercado. It has everything you could possibly need and the staff are super friendly. You need a car. We had two cars given twenty somethings who might want to do something different than the parents. Driving is a bit challenging. Tight spaces, cow parades on the road, and general navigation. You can definitely do it if we could. House is close to Furnas - we went to the hot pools at Poca Da Dona Beija 3 times. It was spectacular. Lots of hikes in Furnas area and Lagoa do Fogo hike is highly recommended - also close. The other hike that was crazy cool was Groto do Inferno. We had a great time at Casa Celeste and hope to come back!

Casa Celeste was the perfect home base for our week on Sao Miguel. The house is very nice and welcoming to come back to after a day of exploring. Pool was lovely and warm. Kitchen was very functional. Beds were super comfy. Highly recommend.

This home was a perfect home base for our family of 5. It’s centrally located with amazing views. The pool was warm, the AC was cold, and we had everything we needed to cook at home. I wish we could stay longer and take advantage of all the spaces and amenities the home has to offer. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing property for the family---wish we invited more friends!
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Celeste. Our family felt safe and the house was clean. The heated in ground pool was a hit with the kids- even on rainy days. We felt like the house was centrally located to all the activities we wanted to do on the island. We loved the fresh bread delivery in the morning. The house felt very spacious and modern, but very comfortable. The owners and management is very attentive. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Our girls are already asking to go back! The only problem was that we wish we could have stayed longer, but dates book up quickly. 🙂 Thank you for helping us create some amazing memories on this family vacation.

Wonderful, spacious, comfortable house away from the crowded tourist areas
On our third island and we were a bit tired of eating out every night, so we reveled in the cooking facilities (outdoor grill, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, loads of pans) as well as separate dining room. We loved being able to have an upstairs for one couple and downstairs for our other traveler with large separate bathrooms for each. The washer and dryer were great assets. Couches indoors and out for relaxing, not to mention the heated pool, which we only used once as it was a bit cool during our visit. Host's representative provided invaluable assistance with issues we had (not even house-related) and was very responsive and gracious about addressing our ignorance in hose to operate items at the house.

We made it!
This home is perfect. After 12 days of touring Portugal, our group decided on a bit of a decompress in the Azores. This home was perfect in every respect. Location was our only disappointment. It is part of a tiny town, 1 restaurant, and great local "ambience", but we could have used a bit "more" around us. That said, the house was fantastic.

The Celeste house was beautiful with all the amenities and comforts, game room/arcade plus full bath in the pool area, daily bread delivery, oils and spices in the kitchen, etc. The beds were comfortable foam and lots of pillows. The communication of the hosts was wonderful, attentive, and responsive with all requests and questions. The house was meticulously decorated and cleaned! The house has a beautiful view, a bit far from restaurants, bars, markets - you will want a car but we found we wanted a car for the island anyway. Perfect for impressing and hosting friends!!! We would 100% stay again.

Spring Break in the Azores
Excellent house for our family of 5 plus grandmother. The listing is exactly as described and was a delightful place for us to stay while visiting the island of Sao Miguel. The house has a heated pool that our 3 kids loved swimming in at the end of each day. There is also a game room with a foosball table and video arcade system. Beds were comfortable! There's laundry onsite to wash any clothes from the day's activities. Definitely a great find and would return to this house if we go back.

Beautiful home and great location for quietly enjoying the surroundings
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and highly recommend this property. Cristina and Hugo were very helpful in planning our trip as well. The checkin process was smooth and the video of the house sent in advance was very helpful. Location is a bit further from Ponta Delgada but worked well for us as we spent most of our time in Furnas and the eastern part of the island.

10 STAR VILLA -ABSOLUTLEY GORGEOUS
3 couples all late 50's stayed for one week in this amazing Villa, the pool, views and neighboring towns were wonderful. The villa has everything you need to enjoy your vacation, including fresh rolls delivered every morning. We decided to cook for dinner most nights and we had everything needed! Five adults stayed in this beautiful home. The rooms are all great. Confortable bed and very well furnished . The pool area was amazing with the BBQ and living sections. Pool was heated. Host was very nice. Home has everything you need . Great kitchen as well. Beautiful views from upper patio and another great sitting area to enjoy the sunset. I have been to a lot of VROB’s and would highly recommend this one. The location is great and quiet. We all had a great time and relaxed in your home !!!

Fantastic home with fireworks!
This home is beautiful with very nice accommodations. We had 4 adults and 3 tween/teenagers in our group and there was enough space to be together or take quiet time. The veranda on the deck was a huge wine for family dinners. The pool was loved by all. I wish I could post more photos of the amazing sunrise, sunset and moonlight views from the pool deck. The location is a good one and allowed us to take day excursions to main sights or activities if interest, but also allowed us to savor the flavor of the culture, as we saw religious pilgrimage celebrations at the main church, the church lit up at night, as well as fireworks, local musicians, and even a wedding! We found the environment to be beautiful and the people very friendly. Check in and check out we’re very easy. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

A perfect stay
I rented this home for my family and I to stay in for the entirety of our week long stay in Sao Miguel. It far exceeded our expectations. Each room was huge and spacious with so much storage and beautiful closets. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need and we had so much fun cooking on the grill as well. The pool was clean and perfectly heated. Sarah was a gem to work with and so helpful, she even went above and beyond and helped us contact the airport to find our lost luggage. A 5 star stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Celeste. The house was spacious, incredibly well stocked (pots, pans, kitchen utensils, spices, etc), and the bedrooms and bathrooms had nice finishes. We really enjoyed the outdoorn kitchen / grill, even during the cooler weather if March in the Azores. The outdoor space and views from the balcony were fantastic. Communication was great and we want to say thank you specifically to Sara, who greeted us when we arrived and was a great resource for any questions we during our stay. At one point we had an issue with the dishwasher and they were very responsive in trying to get it fixed, going so far as to install a new dishwasher the next day. We would definitely stay here again.
