"Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! I can’t tell you how picturesque, stunning and just plain peaceful our breakfast was out in the terrace! Valentina was by far the best customer service experience! Organised dinner reservations for us, drove us into dinner. Organised taxis and all other requests. She went above and beyond! "This property is several kilometers up a gravel road from Murlo, Italy. The road is okay but we got a little concerned after it had been raining for a while. The property is remote and near several hiking paths. It is great for people who want to get out and hike around the hills of Italy. The gardens are really nice. "Had a nice stay. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Apartment was clean. Property is beautiful, I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. My only suggestion for people looking to book would be that you might want to rent a car. It is technically walking distance to centre of town in Siena but it’s a bit of an awkward walk uphill. "

"Staff was very proficient in English for the most part, with excellent communication and professional in service through and through. Restaurant on site was elegant with good variety of menu items, though a little pricey as expected. Quality of food was above average but not excellent as expected. Drive to this monastery was fairly easy with surrounding village somewhat accommodating in amenities and conveniences. Keep in mind you would need a car throughout your stay here. Siena is 10 minutes away by car, a must see for at least one day. "
