"Host, Salvos, was a real asset. We had a dreadful start to our holiday with a five hour flight delay and as a result our car hire vehicles were rented out to others. Salvos helped us - a party of eight - get to the villa. Nothing was too much trouble. He loaned us his car so we could do a supermarket shop. He was the perfect host. "Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. "The Villa is great and is set in the most wonderful garden with a lovely large pool. Check in was smooth and Enzo very helpful. Midweek delivery of croissants was very appreciated especially as the nearest shop is a good 20 min walk and taxis are expensive. The sunset water taxi from the local restaurant to Ortigia was amazing (approx 15€ each) There is a bus stop outside the villa but finding out where it goes wasn’t easy.
