"The straightest route from this property, Rue Saint-Nicolas, to the city's main attraction is actually dangerous - it is lined with cat-calling and confrontational men and gangs of thieves - I would think advice on this from reception was very important but none was given. "We do not always stay in hotels but we had horrible experience with another housing option in town. We could not stay there for three more nights so I made quick reservation on Expedia and we went right to the hotel. It was only 10 in the morning but we had not had a lot of sleep.
