"Great resort… little bit of a drive for food."

"This was my first trip to Old Town Alexandria and I selected The Archer after doing some research to find nice boutique hotels in the area. This one stood out and I do not regret booking at all! The staff is super friendly and accommodating - not at all intimidating for a first-time traveler to the area. The valets greeted me first and gave me the quick run down before I headed through the courtyard into the main lobby. A feature that I found really cool is the sensor about 8-10ft from the lobby door that picks you up in perfect timing to have the door open seamlessly for you as you walk in - it's a small detail but impressive for this traveler nonetheless. "Staff was friendly. The doors to the bathroom and outside had to be pulled and pushed hard for it to shut which made a big boom but it didn’t affect the stay. Therefore still a 5 out of 5. Beach access, great breakfast, valley parking "

"We stayed for a week and it was our first trip to DC. It was wonderful. It was close to the Roslynn Metro station so we could get anywhere in the area. "

"This get-away was such a pleasant surprise. The rooms are so spacious, clean and comfortable. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Only semi complaint was that the couch sloped to the middle so we kept falling into each other! Kitchen is so well equipped and having grills was appreciated. Will definitely come again."

"Beautiful location, our balcony view was beautiful! We went during the offseason so we only were able to use the indoor pool but it was great, it was a small lazy river and had some little coves for sitting in the pool. Their outdoor pools looked even better. Beach access was directly in front of the hotel. Room was clean. They have parking on premises, it is $10/night but they made me a rewards member so I could have that fee waived. Only thing I wish they had was a free continental breakfast. "
