"We really enjoyed staying in this little flat. It’s a bit out of the cities, but also convenient to both Düsseldorf and Cologne, plus smaller towns. The village of Wermelskirchen is charming and nearby. Easy stop for restaurants, groceries, etc. Everything was very comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, etc. We highly recommend this vacation home. Be aware it’s on the second floor, if you don’t want stairs. Cute and spacious once you get up there, though! "

"The quiet apartment was in a great location in the historic part of town and a short walk down to the lake. I loved the views across the Harkortsee, the many birds I could watch from the big windows, and the comfortable bed for a good night's rest. Bus stops were only short walking distances away and the busses made the neighboring towns also accessible. I very much enjoyed my stay at this apartment and will choose it again for my next visit. "We came for 2 nights for the England match at Gelsenkirchen. The flat was absolutely perfect and . Also well worth visiting the Zollverein works.we were able to cycle to Gelsenkirchen and back easily. We didn’t meet Vera but all communication was very straightforward. There are supermarkets and a couple of nice bars nearby"
