"Scammed by the unscrupulous owner that wanted a fee so large for pets that it was more than the hotel reservation, OUTRAGEOUS! Over twice the average pet fee than EVERY other Super 8 asked for. I felt I was taken advantage of since I booked through a third party, so I either lost my booking fee or had to pay double by paying his outrageous pet fee. Buyer beware, call first. "

"I have stayed multiple times at this property. The first time I enjoyed it, the last time it was a bit more trying. Possibly because I was a very late arrival. But three things concerned me; they have almost doubled the pet fee - on their form it said $25, they charged $40, The room carpet was in terrible condition and one thing about “fees?!”"

"I find the Precious Hotel to be quite adequate, but I guess the eggs and sausage are Monday through Friday only. I had to beat the Arctic freeze, so I checked in on a Friday night and Saturday morning meant slim pickings (a couple of mini muffins) for breakfast. The coffee in the breakfast room tasted like tree bark, so I grabbed a few creamers for in-room coffee only to find that all 4 packets in my room were decaf, while most places provide 2 leaded and 2 unleaded. "Planned a stay on 1/8/25 on our way south. Due to a snow storm we stayed from 1/8 - 1/10 and the hotel staff were more than accommodating knowing our situation. We didn’t realize how well we got to know the staff until we stayed again on 1/20/25 on our return trip, when we walked into the lobby the receptionist Aleks greeted us with a “welcome back” which made our day! Can’t say enough great things about this hotel and their staff, we highly recommend it. "
