"The property was clean and tidy during our stay. There are basic kitchen utensils if you need to cook a simple meal. A new shower has also been installed since the last review. Aroha was a kind and friendly host. I recommend this unit for travellers stopping over for a night to rest before heading to their next destination. "

"We had a very pleasant overnight in Athol, and even had a magical snowy morning. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen missing a few things like oven trays and some other bits and pieces, and oven was a big older etc. but overall comfortable with very peaceful surrounds."

Duncan has thought of everything a guest might need - comfortable beds with high quality linen, masses of fluffy towels, well appointed kitchen. Fast WiFi, efficient A/C and heating. We loved it. Perfect for two people as a base to fish the surrounding rivers and explore Mavora Lakes. "
