"This little apartment is fine. It’s very small and there’s probably 100 stairs to get to the front door I can’t imagine ever having to bring groceries. The finishes are nice and one of the bedrooms is a good size. The second bedroom is tiny and feels like it was probably a converted closet. It’s really a one bedroom apartment with a small little closet with a bed. You asked me several times to write a review so here it is."

"The studio cottage was perfect for my month visiting UC Berkeley. It was exactly as described, everything was functional and fresh. It was also a great find and luxury to have our own laundry. It is in a quiet area, yet about a 5 minutes walk from Trader Joes and restaurants. Easy to get around by walking, city bike, and bus. Good walking distance to the university also. Swami and Lata were very kind and accommodating; whenever I had a question they were very quick to respond and generous with...

"Very nice little house and was great for our large dog. The dog park was within walking distance. Standard size frig and oven were great along with a kitchen table that comfortably seated four. Host was very responsive!! Would easily stay again!"

"We were in West Oakland for a few days to get my adult daughter settled into her new apartment and job. This space was just what we needed as a place to rest and relax in between work, and we had everything we needed to cook light meals and make coffee. It was clean and the beds were comfy. The designated parking did not work for my Ford Flex, but street parking was simple enough. A smaller vehicle would work though. It was an easy drive to get everywhere we needed to be."
