"Owners very friendly, quaint cottage, beautifil lake, quiet, close to downtown. Just wonderful!!"

"The Roku TV did not operate as anticipated and there were some kitchen items which we had hoped to be able to use that were not there. Otherwise, the place was amazing and perfect for some of the wedding day's events!! Last thing, when referring to the place, if you could consistently refer to the place as the "Tobacco Barn". Confusion came when it was referred also as "Lakeside". Thanks."

"The property and stay was way better than we were expecting. Wonderful place to go relax, unwind, and disconnect. Excellent river views where you can just sit outside a listen to nature and the river flow. Owner was very responsive to messages. Will definitely stay again if I’m in the area again."

"Beautiful. Very clean home. Depth of water at end of pier 6 feet, water was down from normal. Senior citizens should take a suitable chair for sitting on pier. Overall very nice with Beautiful Lake Marion sunrises and sunsets!"

"Needed some place to stay while floors were being refinished. Quaint, laid back and only about 50 feet from Edisto River. It was very hot and not much to do if you do not do things on the water. The TV worked via Air Play from iPad. Watched some Braves baseball that way and Madam Sec Series. Beds are up against the wall. This made it difficult to get out of bed during the night. Shower leaves a lot to be desired. Killed two Copper Head snakes in yard since this is so near the Edisto River....

"Our family of 9 had a wonderful time here. It was bright and beautiful and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for food preparation. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and functional. The view is stunning and the screened in porch was perfect. The host communicated very well and even let us have an early check in so we could get some remote work done. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We would love to come back again."

"The property was average. We had to ask to have the bedding changed because it was dirty. I was asked multiple times if it was "dirty" or stained" but for someone coming to spend the night, there is no difference. Stained looks dirty. There was a pill in the room on the floor, lights were dim, just felt dingy and kind of gross in the room. The staff was really good.
