"Set in lovely quiet gardens with an avocado orchard you can walk around. The room was spacious spacious and very clean. Rupert even got a desk and chair for me to work on my laptop. Lovely place and hosts would love to come back. "

The town of Matamata was delightful with great food options, and you can’t beat the proximity to Hobbiton. I wish we would have had one more day just to relax and would like to come back!"

"Absolutely breathtaking vintage hotel! The walk to the hot springs is lovely and very walkable. Being able to see the falls would add to the grandeur. I did not go into the hot pools but to a finger touch the water was warm."
