Peaceful and serene
This was the perfect property for our family vacation. It is located in a quiet area as we only ever saw 1 other family on the lake the whole week. Even though the water was not great for swimming (weeds and lilly pads), the kids loved fishing and caught a lot of fish off the dock. The house was stocked with plenty of fans to make the temperature comfortable as our week started with heat and high humidity. Overall, this place has everything you need for a vacation.

Fun & Relaxing Weekend Getaway
For our 5th wedding anniversary my wife and I decided we wanted to get a place on a lake for a long weekend; we opted to bring our dog and toddler along for the trip! Traveling from the Madison area this wasn't too long of a drive for us but it was far enough away and off the beaten path to make us feel like we were truly "up north". The cabin & amenities were all great and the checkin/checkout processes were very simple (thanks to Becky!). While it was too difficult to swim and fish right off the pier, there were plenty of nearby beaches and lakes to fish at in the Wautoma/Waupaca area so it wasn't an issue. We were able to enjoy some fires at night (even cooked some steak over the fire since they have a firepit with a swiveling grill), play some games they had in the garage, kayak, and relax outside to enjoy the peaceful lake/scenery. And plenty of great local dining options. Definitely would recommend this cabin to those looking for a quick and easy getaway!

Peaceful retreat
Spacious home on the lake with stunning views and quiet surroundings. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, lots of beds, and a great internet connection. Surrounded by the sounds of nature and tall pines, but still had great views of the night sky from the deck and the boat dock. Hosts were quick to respond to our messages. Would highly recommend.
