We had a garden suite (Millican Dalton) which was an absolute delight, very spacious and quiet, views over fields & hills. The only fault, although minor was there is no fridge in the room and there is a patio area with table & chairs with view to the hills but it hadn’t been cleaned for sometime, lots of moss & quite slippy. "Lovely little hotel in an ideal spot, not too far from Keswick, but far enough for quiet. Plenty of walks near by and a good base to set up from to get around. We did take our dogs, and the hotel was very welcoming. The only issue we had was the car park was littered with dog poo and it was a battle to not stand in it. Had this not been an issue, we would have provided 5 stars all round. "

"We really enjoyed our 5 day stay here. it was well appointed and so central to the town centre. There was very convenient parking allowed for one car in the church car park, very close to the property. The only slight drawback for us was finding that the mattress on the main bedroom was a bit too hard for us. Other than that, it was a lovely apartment."

"Guys running it were friendly and happy to help. It is in a good location just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. Very dog friendly and it was obvious both guys loved dogs. "Extremely well run and homely B&B just outside Keswick. The breakfast was a particular highlight - especially the a la carte menu. Small things (like tea & coffee in the room with fresh milk, flapjacks in reception and USB charging sockets) make a big difference. I also appreciated the excellent advice provided by the hosts on hiking routes and where to eat in Keswick. I only stayed for one night but will stay longer next time. "
