Top of the Mountain
The road to this home was winding and narrow but well kept. The home may not be very accessible during the winter time. The home was fairly clean and well kept. Each room has a tv/cable. It has beautiful views.

Wonderful time relaxing in the mountains. Clean and comfy cabin. Tom and Sue are so sweet.
A beautiful cabin in the woods. Very clean. No one felt like they were on top of each other and every one could do their own thing without disturbing the others peace. Tom and Sue were super sweet and helpful. Will definitely have to stay again.

Immediate family stay - wedding in Asheville
My oldest son was getting married in Asheville and we needed a place to stay that would accommodate family members while attending the event. This home was absolutely perfect! It accommodates everyone and the views from the property were amazing! The owners were wonderful and it all helped to make what can often be a stressful event one of the most enjoyable and memorable weddings any of us have been to. Would highly recommend and we’re hoping that some time soon we can revisit!

What an amazing experience! The cabin was perfect! So clean and the accommodations were amazing! There were 8 of us and the was more than enough room. I can’t say enough about how welcoming the owners were... we heaven had homemade chocolate chip Cookies waiting for us when we arrived. The location is awesome and the view is breathtaking. We will most definitely stay here again on our next trip. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect for 6-8 adults
The cabin is perfect for 6-8 adults who like both togetherness and privacy. The kitchen is fabulously stocked, and we took full advantage of it. The hot tub was comfortable and fun for 6 women. The landlords are available if you need them, and disappear if you don't need them. Highly recommended.

Mountain Time
We all had a great time in the mountains. Tom and Sue's property is beautiful and fulfilling of all we needed/wanted. Tom made sure to provide a warm welcome and walkthrough of the property and was just a phone call/text away if anything was needed. Tom and Sue also provided cookies that we enjoyed all weekend long. We would recommend this rental for anyone looking to get away to the mountains for some rest and relaxation.

Great family gathering place with terrific views
Six family members gathered for three days. The house was perfect and Tom did the best job ever of introducing this home to us - including a chocolate Father’s Day cake! His communication and helpfulness is second to none. The house is in a private hilltop community facing west (memorable sunset) just across the road from the Maggie Valley Country Club where we played golf one morning (treacherous greens), and very convenient to everything. We all enjoyed the hot tub which was exceptionally clean. We couldn’t have been happier! Thank you Tom!

Perfect for Thanksgiving!
My family travelled from Ohio, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina to get together for T-giving. What a perfect setting for a holiday we will never forget. This house was so well-equipped! Plus it was clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed. The huge dining room table almost seated all of us, then Tom and Sue let us borrow a folding table for the rest! The kids found games and a TV w/movies they could enjoy up in the loft room. There is a park halfway down the mountain that we took the kids to to blow off steam. The hot tub next to the waterfall was a really nice touch! We spent many hours sitting on the huge wrap-around decks enjoying the incredible view. We will definitely return to this mountain paradise!

Enjoyed Our Stay - Great Accomodations
Our group of 8 guys spent 4 nights at this mountain house on our annual golf trip to the mountains and had a great time. The accommodations were clean and the kitchen was well stocked with condiments and everything you would need to prepare and serve food which we did every night to avoid eating out with the current COVID situation. For our trip with 8 guys, it can be hard to find a place that has 8 separate beds but this place met our needs (3 of them are pull out sofa sleepers). There is plenty of room and the house is very clean and comfortable. The owners Tom and Sue are as nice and accommodating as any property owners I have ever met. They will personally greet you and tour you through the house on your arrival and were always on call to answer any question you might have. I highly recommend this house for your mountain vacation especially if you have a large group.

Well Maintained and Stocked Ktichen!
I enjoyed the 3 floors, allowed for privacy when needed. The kitchen had a great amount of condiments, serving bowls and plates, however limited pots and pans with mixed matched covers. The house was fully stocked with hand soap, towels, bed spreads even disinfectant spray. Tom and Sue were very responsive to inquiries from day one of booking and always friendly (I can't say the same for some other owners I contacted in my search process). They were also flexible with our arrival and departure time which was much appreciated. I was disappointed that the house was not actually 7 traditional bedrooms, instead 4 traditional bedrooms with 3 sleeper sofa beds in common areas. Also, the bed sheets and comforters seemed old. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay!

On top of the world
Amazing! There is nothing lacking in this cabin or with the hosts. They are accommodating, hospitable, and attentive to every need or desire. The drive up to the cabin was only scary the initial time. Once driven you realize it’s easy. Tom reassured us of this. My family and I enjoyed local hikes and shopping, and also enjoyed a lot of time together in the cabin. We played games, baked an apple pie, sat on the covered porch because it rained almost all week, and thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with one another for a solid week. This place offered us so much more than just a A place to sleep. We all received the rest we so desperately needed and the peace and joy of being together. We were able to create lifetime memories and it was an absolutely priceless vacation.

Amazing property! Wonderful communication.
We were very happy to find this cabin while searching for a place for a large group of our family to spend a long weekend in the mountains of NC. First off, the communication with Tom & Sue was AMAZING! We received email and phone call within hours of booking our stay to see if we had any further questions, as well as asking about any special occasions so they can prepare ahead of time. Then a few days before our visit, another email detailing how to access the property and ensuring we had all the contact information we needed and was followed by another phone call. We were going to be meeting Tom and Sue at the base of the resort and to be taken up to the cabin at check in time. Even when we had quite the experience while driving to NC, Tom called several times to check to see if we needed anything and even offered to go to the store for us while we were waiting for a rental car and a great recommendation for Brickhouse Pizza and Burgers! Even throughout the stay, we were able to contact them any time we had a question. This was our only stay ever with NO issues with the owners/property! This cabin was PERFECT! We had 2 couples with 2 young children each, and 2 sets of grandparents and it could not have been more perfect with a whole separate area on 1st floor, another suite on the 2nd floor and then rooms and bathroom for the grandparents on the top floor. And the dinning room table with space for us all! We enjoyed the weather, as it was perfect and the views from the mountain were stunning. The on demand waterfall was really neat and relaxing in the hot tub each evening was wonderful. We thank Tom and Sue for a perfect weekend gettaway and hopefully we will be able to visit again, for longer next time!

Great Mountain Cabin
We stayed in Cabin n’ Creek IV for a week and celebrated New Year’s there. We had two families with a total of 9 people (4 adults and 5 kids). Upon arriving in the area, we were met by Tom and Sue. They had us follow them up to the cabin and gave us the grand tour of the home and explained how things worked. I must say, this is the cleanest mountain home we have ever stayed in (and we’ve done a New Year’s mountain trip for 6 years). We had all of the kids stay in the loft bedrooms. There was even a large cubby closet off the loft area that we were able to put a twin blow up mattress in, which became a “bedroom” for one of the children. He loved having his own little cave to sleep in at night. Each couple had their own king beds (main and lower level). All of the beds were comfortable….no aching backs in the mornings. There are three separate “hang out” areas, one on each level. There was enough space for everyone. The decks were awesome. The views were amazing. I personally loved the gas fireplace; flip a switch and instant fire! The TVs were plenty. The linens (bath towels, wash clothes and hot tub towels) were plenty. There was enough paper products supplied for our entire stay. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, even a crock pot we used several times. We absolutely enjoyed the hot tub. It was clean and it worked. It was amazing to sit in the 102 degree tub when it was lightly snowing. The cabin is about 40 minutes from Asheville, so we took a day trip there. It snowed/sleeted the day before we were to leave the cabin. Tom called us to check on the status of the driveway. It was dicey, to say the least. Tom promptly called someone to come spread salt the steep driveway. We were extremely appreciative that he went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get down to the main road safely. Both families agree, this is the best mountain home we have stayed in yet. We definitely recommend staying here. We look forward to another stay at Creek n’ Woods in the future!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at this beautiful cabin for my granddaughters graduation from WCU in May. Such a beautiful area, quiet and up on mountain. We had numerous family attend and had plenty of parking space. It was only a 40 minute scenic drive to WCU. The only precaution is the road is windy and up with numerous switchbacks for those who aren’t use to driving mountain roads. Overall a fantastic place and awesome time was had by all.

Beautiful view and spacious!
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was wonderful and worked like a charm! The hot tub was spacious and there was a tankless water heater so we never had to worry about showers getting cold. The rooms were comfortable, though the sleeper sofas were just OK. The location was amazing, close to shops and cataloochee ski resort and I still can't get over the amazing view.I would say there was 2 negatives to this cabin; the septic tank cover was off slightly, so we kept getting whiffs of sulfur in the hot tub; also, the kitchen had a dephacite of nessesary items - no dishwasher soap, the sizes and quality of pots, pans, covers, and non-metal spatulas was a constant issue - some were dirty, pealing or too thin to work.
