"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"

"Was a nice place but to get to our parking space was a nightmare in our ute. Very tight space to navigate around. The unit was clean but the floors in the kitchen area were very sticky. Did not make our stay unpleasant just could cleam the floors a bit better. Not sure what they could do about the parking spaces however. Would be ok in a small car."

"Such a cool motel. I didn’t realise when I booked that it is Japanese themed, so the decor was a real novelty. We had a 2 bedroom family unit and it was perfect with a huge outdoor area too.
