"We stayed in one of the houses. It was great value compared to an air bnb in a similar location, the entrance was safe and not on a main road and allowed 2 families with 4 children to stay. Only criticism would be no heat pumps but there were adequate heaters and extra bedding. Great location close to city centre. Would stay again"

"Great place to stay. Room was very spacious (esp. after dogbox in Auckland) clean and tidy. OK, it is not new, but everything was in working order and full stove, fridge and microwave, plus plenty of utensils, made cooking easy. They also have a small, but adequate, gym on site. We had to hole up here during Cyclone Gabrielle and it was fine for the three nights we stayed. Staff and owners were very helpful and chatty. Bonus was being able to watch T20 Womens World Cup on TV!"

"Property gave a typical bach style. The beauty was in the view. The sounds of the birds at night and a getaway worth the quite. The town was slighlty ghostly because it was mid week however very well needed. The beach was warm and easy access from the bach.
