"The management is top notch! Very friendly and eager to make your stay the best. The cabin was as described. Plenty of toiletries, bath towels, etc. The kitchen provided all the necessities. The only things we noticed missing were a mixing bowl and measuring cups. "

"Easy to get to and affordable little place to stay. Was pleased to find many wall outlets for a place that is older - appreciated the large bathroom as well. A lamp in the living area would have been nice to have, but overall this place is perfect for a comfortable sleep when skiing or fishing in the area. "

"5 stars everything was perfect - views were excellent, heater was amazing for the zero degree temps even had towel warmers for after the shower place is perfect after a long day of hiking and skiing couldn’t be happier will definitely come back and stay again as well as recommend to all my friends and family ! This place deserves a 10 star review "

"I have stayed at El Pueblo Lodge several times, and it is my favorite place to stay in Taos. Very large rooms, many with wood-burning fireplaces. Large grounds. Excellent breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. And easily walkable to the Plaza, shops, galleries and museums. Some aspects of the rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but I was not at all bothered by that. The Internet was fast, and there were adequate plugs for electronics. I will definitely try to stay here again on my next visit to...

"Charming, small hotel. Our room, while clean and stylish, seemed worn. Especially the floors in both the room and bathroom. The manager Luke was wonderful and very accommodating. We really enjoyed having access to the lobby/dining area after hours for tea and hot cocoa."

"This was our first time to this property. It gives you a good traditional Taos stay in the heart of the area. The place is a lovely older hotel that has a great staff and unique design. All was perfect except we and a set of friends did have some room key issues and being an older hotel you do hear other guest through the walls. The staff and vendors including the restaurant in the hotel were very professional."

"Immediately before staying for 3 nights at La Loma, I had stayed at Monte Sagrado, and the price/quality ratio was vastly superior at La Loma. Aside from all the personal touches (including, for example, a personally tailored breakfast menu every morning), the inn had many surprises of charm that one rarely sees anymore, anywhere. For example, my room had a traditional pueblo-style fireplace (kiva) with firewood and matches that got replenished every morning. I travel a ton throughout the world...

"I really enjoyed my stay there, I got there late and the ambiance was very nice, calming. The rooms were clean the staff was great over all stay was perfect. They have an indoor pool, a cantina, a dining hall and a wellness center(gym). The only con is no complimentary breakfast. I a paid a decent price for the room but no complimentary breakfast is offered. Breakfast at a cost is offered when you book the room. I still give it 9.5 out of 10. "
