"Lovely quirky hotel."

"Really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were lovely. They were having refurbishments done to the rooms. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and were very impressed with our stay. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel had great views and was a short walk away from the shops. "

"Marstons at Penny Hedge. We have stayed here several times and it has been a lovely, peaceful stay each time. Car park is spacious. And after a full day exploring, nice to come back to somewhere so inviting. "

"This hotel listing is incorrect we booked a hotel we thought was in Whitby but this property has been closed for at least the last few months and apparently this hotel is actually in hawes 80miles from Whitby despite all info showing it is in Whitby so we turned up in whitby , no hotel and nowhere else to stay at an affordable price in the Easter holidays so had to go home Do not book this hotel until the issues sorted - check trip advisor we are not the only ones who have been affected "

"Really good location, spotless and a excellent breakfast each morning. We had a large, comfortable bedroom with an amazing view of the abbey (room 7). Tamzin is very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. We were given a parking permit for the duration of our stay. Will definitely go back - Anne and Steve."

"Great location, wonderful view over the bay which was made the more due to the glorious weather. We had room 8 with views over the bay. Very spacious. Wide breakfast choice and served hot, plenty of tea and coffee. Waiters all very helpful and cheerful. Had evening meal in Osbornes one evening, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. Plus excellent location for cliff top walk to Whitby but it is nearly 7 miles, inclines and took nearly 3 hours but great views if you're up to it and weather is favourable"

"Great location. One night stay in family room which was perfectly set out with kids feeling like they had their own room and we had a good space to ourselves aswell to relax while they were sleeping. The staff were very friendly and accommodating letting us grab drinks from the bar and take to room. Even opened us a bottle of our own wine to take up!! Would definitely book here again when in Whitby again. For the price I doubt could get anything nearly as good as this. Parked right across the road in train station, £12 for 24hrs which was easy enough and reasonable. "

"We enjoyed a 3 night stay at The Wilson Arms. It’s a lovely little Restaurant/Pub/B&B. Tastefully decorated with modern touches although keeping some of the old charm. Everything was finished to a great standard and our room was very comfortable with comfy bed and good shower. It was an excellent base for exploring Whitby and the Yorkshire Moors. We used the P&R into Whitby which had, conveniently, just started running again for the Season Breakfast provided a good choice of cereal and cooked items and cooked and presented very well. We ate at the Inn on two nights (too full after fish & chips in Whitby the middle night!) and this was also good. The owner (Dawn?) and I think her name was Zoe, were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Altogether a lovely stay and we would definately recommend. "

"Lovely clean room, comfy bed. Ate in the bar & enjoyed a nice meal, friendly staff in bar area. It was not warm enough to sit in the garden but in warmer weather there were plenty of tables outside in a nice spacious garden. Hotel is situated away from the centre of whitby but is very handy for the park & ride bus service which works out much cheaper than using the town car parks. "
