"Overall this was a great place to stay, outside the busy Las Vegas strip. You though need to be able to have a vehicle if you are staying here. There is nothing around, at the moment. It though is in a growing community so who knows what will be around in a few years time. I am though still waiting for my deposit to be returned to me. I would stay here again."

"The room was ok for the price. It had two adjusent rooms, which was what we were looking for. The staff was friendly, sheets and towels were clean. The property was dated, however, with quite poor sound proofing. It would work for one night stay."

"This was my first time staying downtown and I think El Cortez was perfect. Easy walk to Fremont and the Container Park. Bars and restaurants at the hotel were excellent, the room was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. All future trips I will stay here. It was the best. So much better than the strip. "

"This hotel is a smaller scale Vegas resort. It is part of the "station" group, so it caters to a local crowd. It is nicer than some of the other "station" hotels/resorts I've stayed at.
