Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. "No problem with the house. It was clean and plenty of beds. There was a problem sleeping due to dogs barking (probably at cats) from 10:00 to 4:30 am. You might try the outdoor dog barking deterrent. It cost less than $30. Maybe a coffee table in the living room for drinks. Only one bedroom had a mirror so 4 women crowding one bathroom is not the best. Consider a cover for the patio coming summer."

"If you’re looking for someplace wholesome in the country with clean fresh air and everything you need to feel at-home, this is the place for you. You’ll see cows, hummingbirds, horses, and donkeys here and it’s a lot like returning to a place of simplicity and sanity. I enjoyed getting out of the city and remembering what peace and quiet feels like. We’re purchasing a small ranch home nearby and it was a nice reminder of why."
