"Stayed here one night because of the lack of affordable accommodation in Leipzig. Hotel is across the road from the train station, making it convenient to get to Leipzig, which was our main priority. Hotel is surrounded by woodland and has parking available. Rooms are on the small side, but the biggest issue was that there is no air-conditioning (only a portable fan) or a fridge in the rooms and as they are on the top floor, they become stifling in the summer heat. "We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this hotel was. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed that I have slept in during this trip! The hotel staff were friendly and although we did not speak German and they did not speak English, we managed to communicate. There was a locked bike cage in the garage which we appreciated. By bike it was a quick cycle into the centre of town where we found a bakery, grocery store and a lovely park. "
