"We were in the area for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep and unwind. Definitely small but served our needs - the driveway is extremely steep. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues I would not recommend this property. Beds are very firm - couch was more comfortable! All in all it worked fine and was lovely to be on the water."

"Spent 3 nights here with some old friends and did some grouse hunting in the area. This cabin was awesome for our needs. Super comfortable and great sleeping arrangements for our group of 4. Beautiful location with a nice back deck to have a drink, watch the sunset, and recap on all the birds we missed. The only negative was the amount of flies (both alive and dead). But we’d definitely consider this place again. "

Colorful fall trees. Easy walking area. Walked to the dam, the campground, the scout camp, etc. Took kayaks out for a quick paddle. Enjoyed watching the herons and eagles on the lake. Master upstairs bed-bath suite is immense, with shower. Second bathroom upstairs is only a tub — no shower. Watch out for odd step...

"We had six adults staying, and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots and pans and dishes, but no potholders. There were plenty of beds to choose from. It was lacking in comfy chairs in the family room (just one couch), and there were no chairs to use on the deck. The biggest complaint was we had to take our garbage with us on checkout or get charged for leaving it. Overall, it was a quiet location and a nice place to stay."
