"It was our third visit to the Jolly Drover and we have always returned because the beds and bedding are so comfy and the accommodation is simple but well maintained. We have stayed in different rooms and this time were in room 6. Everything was fine until we got into bed. The mattress was so awful that you could feel the slats on the bed. "Beautiful place set in a great location for peace but close enough to the bustle. Staff are amazing and felt more like ‘home ‘. . I’ve employ them all. Bar. Restaurant . Management. Food was superb. Parking easy and beautiful building. Rooms modern but somehow felt ‘right’ for the era. Only negative is rooms are small and a sleeping head is very close to WC .
