"The Maxwell Del Mar represents the pride of Barbados. The cleanliness of my room was a sight to see. The pool was also gorgeous-blue-sunlight. But if you really want to understand what makes this hotel so special, it is a warm and welcoming staff that caters to your every need. The leader of this incredible team is Mr. Hal Haynes, who borders on Barbados royalty. A statesmen in every sense of the word, Mr. Haynes is a stately gentleman reminiscent of a bygone era when respect and dignity ruled the day. I also thank Nadia and Matthew for their superb service. Stay in this wonderful Barbados hotel before you cannot get a reservation! "

"Unbelievable views! Great beach, lovely rooms. Wish we had come for our honeymoon. We will be back again. Only issue, this is not really hotel related, the frogs. When it gets dark the frogs getting to croaking and they are loud. If you come to Barbados, bring ear plugs to sleep. Other than that, this is an exceptional-one of a kind resort that is just amazing."

"I just spent 6 fantastic days at the SoCo Hotel. From the time that I arrived for check in to the time that I checked out I had the best service you could possibly get. All staff members are friendly and helpful. I wasn’t good at getting everyone’s name but Shaniqua, Shane, Mr Allen and last but not least Michelle were my go-to’s for anything I needed at the bar or at the front desk. Michelle went out of her way to accommodate me on several occasions and made sure I had an introduction to the owner of the hotel during a nice reception event. The location is very central for getting around on either the west or south coast. I’ve stayed in several hotels on the island, but this tiny boutique hotel is right up there for me. I will definitely book with them in the future."

Peaceful balconies, breathtaking views from so many spots, incredible staff who are always willing to help even when the problem you’re having isn’t part of their job. Our room was beautiful and spotless. We are planning our trip back to the Crane for next year already "
