Gorgeous Lakeside Getaway Chalet by Sarah Bernard

We are excited to help you plan your vacation! The Lakeside Chalet features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths and is perfect for 2-8 people. If your idea of roughing it includes a premium property with Smart TV, WiFi, a gorgeous lake setting, complete privacy, and endless amenities, you've found the perfect location. Enjoy a long weekend or an entire week in this beautiful, updated Innsbrook A-frame. Located within a gated community and built in late 2007, it is luxuriously outfitted for all of your getaway needs – whether you're seeking a romantic escape or a weekend of fun with family and friends.

Nestled within a 1.3-acre forest of trees, this very private deluxe chalet is the perfect setting for your lake vacation. Lake Sonnenblick is just outside the door where you will enjoy watching a constant flow of wildlife; a paddleboat is included with the chalet and is stored at the water's edge next to the dock. In the summer, take a paddleboat ride around 4-acre Lake Sonnenblick or enjoy the popular sandy beaches and swim docks on 150-acre Lake Aspen.

This chalet features a sand beach and a lakeside fire pit and patio, perfect for enjoying the outdoors year-round. The beautiful first-floor living room has amazing views and a stone wood-burning fireplace, cozy for early spring, fall, and winter getaways.

Three private bedrooms are fully furnished with a king & queen-size beds. The loft also contains a sleeper sofa (queen size).

The over-sized kitchen is well-appointed and is ready for preparing meals for small or large gatherings. A gas grill on the deck is also available.

Smart TV (no local channels) - easy to use your own Netflix, etc, accounts

Best stocked kitchen I have ever had. Clean and everything in good working order. Shower stream a little strong for me. We enjoyed the pool and the concert on Saturday. There was something for everyone to do.

Hidden gem
The home is located on the water with the sun rise coming over the hill and lighting up the deck and living room. The bedrooms are on west side of home allowing those who want to sleep in, do so in comfort. The security gate is an added comfort factor as well. The peace of the woods the home is situated in is very relaxing. The deer, squirrels and frogs all add to the tranquility of the stay. Beautiful place, one we will visit again.

Froze the first night due to unseasonably chilly weather and wifi thermostat. Had to build a fire which I did not want to do as I have COPD and smoke bothers my breathing. Next day water main break. We were not kept in the loop as to when we would have water back. We are in our 50's we go off season and during the week to avoid crowds or parties. We felt like this trip we were treated a bit rudely. Like the supplies were rationed in the chalet. Our previous experience with Sarah was much more relaxed. I did enjoy the property though. Easy access to the house and lake.

Annual Family Weekend Getaway
Unfortunately, this chalet has roof damage and if it rains during your stay, whoever is sleeping in the upstairs bedroom (to the left of the stairs) will get rained on or will retire for the night to a wet bed. We notified the property manager and I'm hopeful they and/or the owner will resolve the issue as the nightly rate is a bit expensive to deal with such an inconvenience. Innsbrook is a wonderful location for a summer getaway! It is a safe and peaceful place and their activities and amenities are wonderful!

Cozy, clean cabin!
My husband, 7 month old son, dog, and parents stayed in this chalet for my birthday weekend. It was clean, so cozy, and had lovely views despite being a very cold weekend. We had fires both inside and outside. Our yellow lab had a blast!! We’d definitely love to come back.

Even though it rained all weekend and we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor activities we still had a great time hanging out in the comfortable, well equipped chalet. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and we had plenty of room to spread out.

Hidden Gem
We did not know about Innsbrook or that there was a whole resort here but decided to take a short trip on a whim. The area and house did not disappoint. The Sarah Bernard Chalets team was very responsive and was a breeze to work with. The chalet had plenty of space for our crew and everything we needed was provided. The shower pressure was a bit intense for us but it wasn’t a deal breaker. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

This place was great for a friends weekend! We had a very nice, relaxing weekend! The property management was very attentive to our needs (like toilet paper and paper towels!) The property was very clean, well equipped and very comfortable! Our cabinwas pretty secluded, which was nice! Would definitely recommend this place if you would like a nice relaxing getaway!

This home is very deep in the woods & we loved that! The entire community is beautiful & has wooded separation between the homes, plus plenty of activities to keep you busy. Unfortunately it rained/stormed multiple times every single day but we still accomplished a lot. The house was great & comfortable. My only suggestion would be to provide a new vacuum for the home, the one there is very old and does not work well, even after changing the bag. There is a lot of carpet, so a vacuum is important. All in all the house was great and I would absolutely recommend this home and this resort.

Great Christmas getaway
The property is lovely as advertised. They even had a decorated Christmas tree inside, which our young daughters were delighted with. We made full use of the indoor fireplace and open kitchen. Highly recommended.
