"We had a good stay and was pleased to know that the staff goes all the way out to make sure our needs are met. The staff are always ready to answer all our questions. The place are spacious ,clean and close to Gubei Water Town. I would definitely stay again if i make it back!"

"The room was represented as having a separate twin bed in addition to a queen. It did not. The room was not very clean and it was extremely small. I suppose that the charm, but it was not charming. The staff had no idea that they offered breakfast and when we arrived, a 10 year-old kid greeted us. He was the only person there. Getting hot water for the shower was not easy and the bathroom door wouldn't close (it actually sprung open unless you barricaded it). The bed was not at all comfortable...

"Extremely uncomfortable. Tiny room with no closet and very dark. Probably the worst room in the hotel (located right behind the front desk area). I travel about two to three times a year and this is the very worst experience that I've encountered ever. Others in our traveling group were given substantially better accommodations and at the same price."

"The hotel is fantastically located just a short walk from Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden Palace and the rest of central Beijing. Our room was tiny, but that's the price to be paid for a boutique room in a traditional hutong building and you can't argue with the price for this location. The staff were helpful, the room was clean and had everything we needed and breakfast was fine. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful away from the noise of Beijing."
