"We really enjoyed Rushay - the house, Cottage and grounds are beautiful. Full use was made of the tennis court and we drove to Charmouth for an early morning swim each day. The beds are really comfy and the bathroom facilities are good. We did feel that the kitchen equipment needs updating a little - we just managed to cater for 20 between the two kitchens and using quite a few items brought from home. Altogether though, a really lovely time was he by all!"

"Lovely property full of character, but what sets it apart is the beautiful location on the edge of the National Trust estate. Such a lovely setting. Communication with the owner was excellent, and it was very reasonably priced compared to other options we looked at. Highly recommend!"

"This is a beautiful house, well equipped and was really suitable for our holiday with three generations of family. The pool was a big hit with the children in particular and the adults enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and steam room. The beach at Weymouth together with all of the attractions are within easy reach. This was a very enjoyable week."

"Beautiful and spacious modern house surrounded with the peaceful ground, very well equipped kitchen/dinning, comfortable lounge, three bedrooms and two bathrooms all on the upper level. One en-suite bedroom on the ground floor. In house lift to go up to the upper level is very convenient to those who struggle with the stairs. Good house keeping. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing break at Monymusk House Stud. Highly recommended!"

"We had a lovely long weekend at the Piddle Inn. Downstairs is just like a pub - all for us! Bar, games room and pub kitchen fantastic for a family group. Gorgeous bedrooms and the sound of the stream at night. Lovely walks straight from the back and Alan the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly."

"The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up. "Stanley's house was perfect. I cant understand some of the reviews that claim some of the furniture is a bit worn.... the house has charm and has the sense of travelling around the world (which Stanley has) without ever leaving and feeling extremely helpful. "Very nice property and close to all the facilities, nice to be left milk, bread, jam and lots of other nice and essential stuff. The only thing we didn't like was the property itself is not very dog friendly, wasn't allowed to let him off the lead in the garden and the decking area was only about 5ft by 6ft, photos were a bit misleading and also the little walkway from back gate to property is pitch black after 9pm, so had to buy a torch to take the dog out."

"Lovely comfortable spacious cottage in a great location for making the most of the many local walks in the wonderful Dorset countryside. Good accessibility to the local beaches and other attractions in the area with the delightful Beaminster town centre only a short walk away from the cottage. The pretty garden was an unexpected bonus and perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day. We really enjoyed our stay and are keen to come back !"
