Your first stop is a store specialising in bakkwa, jerky-like meat, slow grilled over charcoal with the same secret recipe handed down from generations ago. Savour the honey sweet, appetising bakkwa or get a pack as a take-away souvenir. Stroll around a little more past the various small stalls that sell a plethora of tropical fruit, including the king of fruits, Durian, as well as fresh seafood and daily goods.
Chinatown Complex

Continue onwards to a hawker centre and explore the myriad of food stalls before tasting either “carrot cake” or Char Keow Teow. Warm up your appetite with this popular side dish that uses the simplest ingredients. Your main course of the day is at the first street-level Michelin stall.
Temple Street

Indulge in the stall’s signature dish, soya sauce chicken rice: soft tender marinated chicken with white rice and peanuts. Finish off the tour on a sweet note at a popular dessert shop. End your foodie experience here and head back to your accommodation from Chinatown MRT Station.

Our tour began with an appetizer of tasty bbq candy pork followed by a choice of iced tea or coffee. We got a walking tour of Chinatown and finished at a hawker center where our guide brought us an excellent selection of street food starting with Singapore’s famous chicken rice. On my own, I never would have found those places. Start this tour hungry.

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but this was a fantastic experience! Only 7 of us in the group. So many great stops and delicious food, including pork and chicken with noodles from the hawker restaurant with a Michelin star. In addition to all of the food (Lots of it!), our guide Grace gave us a great tour through Chinatown and offered lots of tips and recommendations. A great value that far exceeding our expectations!

10 stars! Don't look any further for a Hawker Tour in Singapore. This tour went above and beyond our expectations and Sam, our guide was knowledgeable, helpful, entertaining and truly cared that we had the best tasting experience at several locations. His knowledge of the history of Chinatown and the foods we ate were amazing and we were stuffed by the time the tour ended. This well executed tour and Sam's guidance was well worth the price. Don't look any further in booking this tour. You'll be happy you did.

We were introduce to many different type of dishes that were sold in Chia town. The food dishes were all delicious. Sam gave us a brief description of what we were eating and also how the dish was prepared and the ingredients the dish contain.
