What you can expect

The tour begins at Athens' Acropolis. From here, enjoy a private car transfer to Eleusis.
Upon arrival in Eleusis, your private guide will greet you with a map on how to explore the ancient site on foot or by trolley.

Explore the archaeological site and take in the atmosphere of antiquity.

Next, visit the Temple of Demeter and Kore, which is considered to be one of the oldest monuments on earth.
Your guide will lead you to an underground section where you will see a stone slab with carvings that dates back to before 700 BC.
Walk out into the cella (the central, circular part) and take in the important elements of the ancient temple.

Finally, walk to your vehicle for your journey back to Athens.
