The guide was very knowledgeable, and explained a lot of the history associated with each site.

It felt more like being driven around by a chauffeur than guided by a tour guide. Sitting just two rows behind the driver, we struggled to hear anything she said, which was incredibly frustrating. Later, those seated next to her mentioned that her commentary was "just trails of thought." At each stop, she simply told us to "go explore on your own" without providing clear instructions. She also seemed to discourage visiting historic sites & museums, which felt counterproductive for a guided tour. The most critical qualities of a tour guide are knowledge and effective delivery, but she fell short on both. Not only was the info she shared sparse and unhelpful, but some of it was also incorrect (e.g., Pont du Gard being the most visited monument in France). Her delivery came across as a jumble of incoherent thoughts that trailed off into nothingness. This was the most expensive tour we took, and it was absolutely not worth the price given the lack of value we received.

Terrie was really good. (Maybe a slow start to tell us what we were looking at), but as the day progressed he was great. Cost of excursion seemed a little high.

This was such a great trip! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and good-humored. I am glad I went with a day tour instead of renting a car and trying to find our own way around. The guide brought us right to scenic viewpoints, added context for various landmarks, made suggestions for activities in each place we stopped, and shared the history of the region. Highly recommend!

We liked the range of sites visited, however the time at each location was quite short (45 minutes). it may have been better to have had one less stop and a longer time at each stop (Pont du Guard should remain).

We had a very enjoyable trip round lots of the key sights in the region. It was a whistle stop tour but we had enough time to get a feel for everywhere including places we'd have really struggled to get to on public transport.
