First of all, be prepared for freezing cold and take everything warm that you have and definitely get good sleep the night before. Sometimes roads are blocked and we can not go next to Gudauri, but in this case, we have more time to spend at Gudauri ski resort, where you have the possibility to try a lot of activities like paragliding, quad bike bikes, Horse riding and etc.

Zhinvali, also Jinvali, is an artificial water reservoir located on the river Aragvi in Georgia. The building of the hydroelectric dam formed the Zhinvali Reservoir. The dam has been built in 1986.
Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble

Ananuri fortress dates to XVI-XVIII centuries and it is situated on the foreland by the river Aragvi. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. This is a perfect place for landscape photography, there are amazingly beautiful views of the fortress and Jinvali reservoir together. The fortress remained in use until the beginning of the 19th century. In 2007, the complex has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage Site programme.

You have enough time at the ski resort. You can try different activities here, such as skiing, horse riding, snow biking, Quadro biking, etc. You will spend around 5 hours here and then return to Tbilisi at around 9-10 PM.

Our trip from Tbilisi to Gudauri and Kazbegi was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by our incredible tour guide, Luca, and our skilled driver, Gia. From the moment we started, their professionalism, warmth, and dedication stood out. Luca was not just a guide—he was a true storyteller, bringing the history, culture, and landscapes of Georgia to life with his deep knowledge and engaging personality. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, entertained, and well-informed throughout the journey. Gia, our driver, handled the mountainous roads with incredible skill and confidence, making us feel completely safe even in challenging conditions. The highlight of their exceptional service was when we got stuck in Kazbegi due to an avalanche. While this could have been a stressful situation, Luca and Gia handled everything seamlessly. They arranged an overnight stay for us and ensured that all logistics were taken care of, turning what could have been a difficult experience into an adventure of its own. Their calm approach, resourcefulness, and genuine care for our well-being made all the difference. Despite the unexpected challenges, we never felt stranded or worried. Instead, we were able to fully enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Kazbegi, knowing we were in the best hands. We are incredibly grateful for their efforts and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Georgia. Luca and Gia truly made our trip extraordinary, and we can’t wait to return for another adventure with them!

We had an absolutely amazing day with Hercules today! The driver was very professionnal ,all the staff very friendly and our guide extremely knowledgeable and cool. The scenery was out of this world and we were blessed with the last remnants of snow.I strongly recommend this tour for people who want to enjoy some of the beauty of Georgia.

Upon arrival at the meeting point there were people from the tour company playing loud music. I moved away from them and they kept following me despite the fact that I told them it’s too loud. They proceeded to jump up and down in front of me telling me to wake up. I didn’t feel like my space was respected. Thankfully they didn’t join us on the tour. Dimitri was an excellent guide

It was great as a solo I thought there will be no one to click my picture. But the travel guide (Hercules) a good guy he clicked for us picture.and I meet also some more solo travelers they are very friendly.He explained some history about popular places.I loved it
