What you can expect

This full day tour offers you a chance to explore the beauty of Luang Prabang city which is commonly called “Jewel on the Mekong”. Joining this tour, you will discover all the highlights of this city. You will observe the daily life of the locals in the morning market and villages, and marvel at its natural masterpieces such as the impressive Pak Ou Cave and the stunning Kuang Si waterfall.

You will be driven to the first destination of the tour, which is the Phousi morning market. Here, you will observe and feel the busy life of the local people in the market. In addition, you will see a wide range of traditional products sold in the market, such as teas, vegetables, buffalo skin

leaving the market, you will continue the tour by visiting some famous villages inhabited by ethnic minorities near Luang Prabang city. They are Ban Ou of Lao Loum people, Ban Quay of Hmong people and Ban Thapene of Khmu people.

After exploring these villages, you will head to the next destination, the stunning Kuangsi waterfall which is an ideal place to relax after long hours walking. Here, you can enjoy yourself a refreshing swim.

After spending time relaxing at the waterfall, you will be driven back to Luang Prabang where you will take a boat ride along the mighty Mekong River to the spectacular Pak Ou Cave. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenic landscape of riverside villages and enjoy the fresh atmosphere on the river. Coming to the Pak Ou Cave, you will be impressed by thousands of Buddha statues in different kinds of shapes and sizes. In addition, on the way, you will pay a visit to Ban Xanghai village which is well-known for making its famous rice whisky. You will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and have a short rest later.

Leave Ban Xianghai, you will continue the tour by visiting Ban Phanom village which is famous for silk weaving.
