Overview

We will show you our favourite spots along the coast of Siracusa with beautiful views over the cliffs, the sea and the historical centre of Siracusa, the island of Ortigia. If we're lucky, we can even see Mt. Etna! We use the best bikes in town: comfortable high quality BIANCHI touring e-bikes and fitness bikes, with step-through or standard frames.

Activity itinerary

A pleasant bike ride from Siracusa to the small harbour of Ognina and the light house of Plemmirio (Peninsola Maddalena). We meet at our office to set up the bikes and for a short safety briefing. We start cycling and head south to the small fishing harbour of Ognina. After a short stop, we continue along the coast towards the peninsula Plemmirio where we stop at the lighthouse of "Murro di Porco". From here we continue to the north coast of Plemmirio, the area called "Isola" (but it's not an island) from where we have a breathtaking view on the island of Ortigia and on a clear day, Mt. Etna. Return back into town. *** At the time of booking please inform us about your height (minimum 155 cm/5'1) so we can prepare the right bike for you - Also specific the kind of bike you prefer: e-bike or fitness - The use of a HELMET (provided by us) is mandatory - Inform us about any health issues we should be aware about ***
