Meeting with the guide in front the Church of San Rocco in Camogli.
The guided activity includes reaching the Agririfugio Molini di San Fruttuoso (1H30) by going up the so-called “Via dei Monaci” for a quick stop (20min). We will then go to the entrance of the so-called Via dei Tubi, which follows the route of the old Camogli aqueduct at the Caselle spring. An expert level trail which is hidden and authorised only by a local guide. You will follow the route of the aqueduct, following the pipe that once carried drinking water to the town of Camogli. This is a very scenic itinerary of historical and cultural interest as well as naturalistic, which develops along technical routes, equipped with handrail chains, and includes the crossing of several tunnels with no lighting. Before the last tunnel of the route, stop (30m) at the “Bricco” bunker, from which there is a panoramic view of Punta Chiappa and the Genoese Riviera. Breathtaking sunset with a bottle of white wine and focaccia. At the end of the Via dei Tubi path we reach the Batterie, military posts dating back to World War II, and then continue to San Rocco.
End of the guided activity approximately 6 hours after departure.
