Kuirau Park is free to visit and is a popular spot for both locals and tourists.

Government Gardens in Rotorua is a historic and beautifully landscaped public garden located on the shores of Lake Rotorua. Established in the late 19th century, the gardens are home to vibrant flower beds, lush lawns, and iconic buildings such as the Rotorua Museum and the historic Blue Baths. The area holds deep cultural significance for the Māori people and was gifted to the British Crown for public use. Visitors can enjoy the serene atmosphere, explore walking paths, and admire the mix of Edwardian architecture and geothermal surroundings.

Lake Rotorua is a large, shallow lake in the Bay of Plenty region, known for its stunning natural beauty and geothermal activity. Formed from the crater of an ancient volcano, it is the second-largest lake in the North Island of New Zealand. The lake’s waters are often tinted with hues of green due to its high sulphur content. The forest is a popular spot for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, offering a peaceful escape with its fresh air, impressive trees, and vibrant greenery.

On the way back to Auckland, We will have a brief stopover at Mercer, a small settlement in the Waikato region of New Zealand, offers scenic views of the Waikato River, New Zealand’s longest river. The river meanders through the lush, green landscape, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting. Visitors can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, watch boats pass by, and take in the expansive views of the surrounding countryside. The Mercer area is a popular rest stop for travellers, offering both riverfront views and a glimpse of the natural beauty of the Waikato region.

From Mercer, we head back to Auckland CBD, on the way back, we will drop off our friendly tourists at the Airport Transfer, and Airport hotels.
