What you can expect

Step into the magical world of Harry Potter with a behind-the-scenes look at film sets, props, and costumes at Warner Bros. Studios in London. Scope out treasures from your favourite scenes and uncover the secrets behind the cinema' dazzling special effects as well as a huge array of beautiful sets, costumes and props with this 4-hour visit.

Grab a seat on a superior Mercedes coach in the centre of London for the 90-minute ride out to the studio. On arrival, your Guest services assistant arranges your entrance ticket and guides you to the entrance to the studios where you join a self-guided tour of the original sets, props, and costumes from the Harry Potter films.

Marvel at an array of beautiful sets, from the shopfronts of Diagon Alley to Platform 9 3/4 and the new Forbidden Forest Check out costumes worn by characters like Hagrid and Dumbledore, spot props used in the films, and discover the tricks behind the special effects and animatronics that brought the fantastical world of Harry Potter to life onscreen.

Dark Arts (15th September - 5th November 2023)
Returning for the spooky season, Dark Arts will see the Great Hall ceiling decorated with over 100 floating pumpkins as well as a Hallowe’en feast of lollipops and red apples dressed along the tables. Visitors are invited to follow the Dark Mark trail, try their wand combat moves against Death Eaters in a live duel as they storm the Studio Tour, all before walking down a darker Platform 9 3/4 and an eerier Diagon Alley.

Hogwarts in the Snow (11th November 2023 - 14th January 2024)
2023 will conclude with the return of the Studio Tour’s beloved Hogwarts in the Snow feature. Starting at the Great Hall, bedecked in the gold decorations from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, all the way through to Hogwarts castle model, fan-favourite sets throughout the Studio Tour will be displayed in their festive finery. Learn the secrets behind ice that never melts and fire that doesn’t burn and see a blanket of filmmaking snow covering the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley and the magnificent Hogwarts castle model.

The beginning part of our experience was not pleasant. We missed taking the coach because we ended up at the wrong Evan and Evans meeting place for this scheduled tour. We had to make our own way to the Warner brothers studio using London transportation The meeting place provided in the itinerary on the Expedia website was for the evan and Evans office on 258 Vauxhall bridge rd apparently we had to meet at russell square. The Rep at the Evan and Evans office mentioned this also happened to other tourists who also booked this tour through Expedia. As we had to make our own way to the warners bros studio, we started the tour late and ended up finishing the tour later than expected and did not meet up on time to pick up the coach back to Russell square. Due to this inconvenience we would like to get a full refund for this tour we booked with Expedia. Thanks John Moret

Incredible. The closes to actually being in the movies because you're walking through the actual sets and looking at the actual props. An absolute must not just for Harry Potter fans but for fans of movie making!

I booked tickets for Harry Potter Tour at MGM Studios in London. I received a printed receipt and what appear to be tickets. On Christmas Eve after my 6 tickets were wrapped and under the tree I received an e-mail that Tour company could not fill the order. They said read the fine print. I cried foul and tour company pointed finger back to Expedia. Expedia is pointing finger at tour company. I am stuck in London and no tickets. Huge disappointment and I don’t care who is at fault. I spent a pile of money to fly my family to London and I did not get to see the Harry Potter tour. They say they will complete the investigation in 10 days which is well past my departure date. Never again for Expedia. I will never give them a chance to ruin my holiday.

Booked through Evan Evans Travel. They confirmed our tour, took our payment, then cancelled our booking just days before our tour. Our 9-yr son was so disappointed. We planned so much of our trip around it. And Evan Evans was not very helpful with the refund. We had to reach out to Expedia, and our agent had to “convince” the agency to give us a refund. I’m sure the tour would have been fun. But be very careful when booking with Evan Evans Travel.
