You can access the popular Chocholowska thermal pool complex in Poland, near the village of Chocholow. You can get a ticket to ride the Gubalowka funicular rail with an astonishing panoramic view of the mountains. You can catch it right in the heart of Zakopane.
Kasprowy Wierch is one of the highest peaks in the vicinity that you can reach by cable car from the foot of the mountain. The southern crest marks the board with Slovakia, and it is one of the country's dominant ski areas.
Snowlandia, the winter amusement park, is another perfect way to spend a winter's day in Zakopane. The whole family can enjoy the snow maze, the igloo with snow sculptures and sledge rides on the toboggan hill. The magnificent mountainous views and the sight of the Wielka Krokiew Ski Jump are a welcome bonus.
Tickets to attractions do not include transfers. You have to make your way to each separate site or attraction to use your ticket/pass. The options starting from Krakow include shared transfers.
