"This is a beautifully maintained hotel with really pleasant and helpful staff. Expensive yes - but you are in the heart of London within walking distance of restaurants, theatres and main attractions. Victoria Station is just steps around the corner so really easy to get around the city. Our room was lovely and had a towel heating rack. The in-house restaurants were very good. Highly recommend it!"

"This is a perfectly adequate and reasonably priced hotel, located in an area that is convenient and safe. The Bayswater tube station is a few minute's walk away and the nearby dining options are ample. The room I stayed in was small, somewhat cramped, and unimaginatively furnished, but clean and perfectly serviceable. The desk was situated less than 12 inches away from the foot of the bed, making it impossible to pull the chair out far enough to actually sit in, so if you're planning to get a lot of writing or similar work done in one of these rooms, you should plan to do it on the bed. Overall, this place was a good value for the money and the staff were friendly. "

"The Grand at Trafalgar Square is close and within walking distance to many important places in central London. It is close to Charing Cross and Embankment underground stations. It also has a grocery shop nearby. There is also a nice breakfast place there. "

"The hotel exudes a nostalgic charm. The common areas are a tad run-down, but this is a small price to pay for the good value the rooms afford the traveler in a very expensive city. "
