"The room was very clean. The proprietor was extremely kind and helpful. He even helped carry the luggage upstairs. The breakfast provided in the morning was excellent! Ham, sausage, black pudding, eggs baked tomato, beans and toast all freshly cooked to order! There was also a coffee machine for lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos etc. for those with a smaller appetite you could also choose cereal or other items. The room had coffee and tea and some cookies. "The guesthouse had good parking and was about half a mile walk from Keswick. There was a nice path along the edge of some fields and away from the road. The room in the guest house was very spacious and most comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. We had a lovely stay and hope to return some time soon. Thanks"
