Checkin was smooth and the lady was really friendly and showed me to my room and also served me a few well poured guinness later that evening. Thank you i will certainly stay again. They didn't serve an evening meal but plenty of options not too far away."

"Great stay at the Dun Cow Inn. Just what we needed after our wedding at Hardwick Hall hotel. About 15 min walk from there. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and big and the full English was freshly made and nice and hot. Good amount of parking and all at a decent price. Staff were courteous and friendly. So yep excellent and would stay again if in the area. "

"The Old Coach House is absolutely excellent. Our room was spacious, had everything we could want and all of a very high quality. It was warm, comfy and looked great too, with huge original wooden beams, large luxurious armchairs and tasteful decor. The breakfasts were super too; lots of choice and tasty fresh fruit like berries or pineapple and choice of juices. Home made granola pots featured if you wanted a luxury treat. "On arrival l was given no information by the young lady. There was only WiFi information in my room, nothing else. Only found out, from another guest, how to get back in the front door using the key fob. The same, l heard from another guest who had heard from another guest, about being able/aloud to use the fridge in the kitchen for storage "

"Brunswick House is a beautiful B&B which is the perfect mix of homely and modern. It has absolutely everything you might need, including an amazing breakfast selection all cooked fresh! The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and it was great to have a parking space (it is a tight alley to get to the car park just be aware!)"

"Absolutely wonderful place. Very comfortable room, toiletries is bathroom, all the tea, coffee and hot chocolate you want. Great sized TV as well as desk and comfy chair. Beautifully decorated. Fridge, microwave, plates etc. in downstairs hall as well as extra sugar, tea etc. Lots of parking. Absolutely loved it. Handy for beach , fish and chip shops, ice cream etc. 10 minutes drive to Hartlepool. Excellent. "
