"This is a quaint, comfortable hotel in a very convenient but quiet location. The staff was warm, friendly, helpful, and delightful to talk to. There isn't an elevator so be prepared to carry your bags up stairs, but for us it wasn't bad. It was a bit hot in the upstairs rooms but they provided extra fans that helped cool things down. The food in the restaurant was excellent and they had great beer with a nice atmosphere. It was quite convenient for both the bus and the tube. Traveling on...

"Staff friendly and helpful but ruined by the lady that checked me in who was distinctly rude and unhelpful. Property clean and well maintained but terrible ordour in bathroom (self contained0. Had to leave window open in winter and repeatedly spray with body spray when going in. need strong air freshner but better solve the issue causing the strong sewer smell. "

"For the price, you can't get better room in central-ish London...small, clean serve the purpose for one-two nights....the heater was full on , had to get tool to switch it off...on contrary in most hotels its cold so not complaining....the amazing thing is that room comes with what is missing in most hotels!. A fridge that works perfectly...to store& cool your water, wine, salad , snacks....and that is really amazing..."
