"Very pleased with my stay here. The house is unpretentious and simple. It really is about simple batch living, and this is it's charm. There is a wonderful wood burner that does an amazing job of keeping the place nice and warm. The batch looks right out on to the South Pacific Ocean and the sounds of the waves are ever present. "Nice solid bach with some amazing views in a great part of Hanmer. 4 proper bedrooms with tons of beds, and extra couches for kids who like to shift in the night! Bedrooms are all on ground floor with a bathroom, living/dining room on first level with deck and a loft above living room. Loft ladder is a vertical ladder on wall with no sides and loft has no way to lock it or secure so active supervision of young kids required.
