"Walking distance to Old Phuket Town if you can handle the heat! The area was somewhat safe besides one homeless man who seemed a little dangerous to walk past to get to Old Town. Hint, he stayed inside an abandoned building and typically minded his own business until he wandered onto the sidewalk occasionally. The staff at the counter were a bit confusing when explaining a 2,000 baht deposit that had to be paid up front, so just be prepared. We got the 2,000 baht back once we checked out. The hotel smelled so good. The staff working the door were so kind and helpful. They held our bags when we arrived from the airport. Check-in wasn’t until 1-3PM, but we were able to check in a little early due to availability. The rooms were cold and clean with an amazing view of the ocean and the city. Bolt & Grab were extremely easy to use in Phuket compared to Bangkok. Overall, a great stay and absolutely worth the price. The only issue we faced was very loud construction and housekeeping. It was repetitive sounds all day and almost all night. It did make it a bit difficult to stay asleep unless your TV volume was high. "

"Best hotel ever "

"We are on day 20 of a 30 day Asian vacation and fortunate to have the Amari for 7 of those days. Upgrade to the club level. It’s worth the extra money. The pool that is shown in the marketing is the club pool and only available if you upgrade. There are two other pools but neither of them are as nice as the club level pool. There is a happy hour every day with free food and drinks. In addition, there is a private gym and restaurant, only for club level members. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Don’t worry about the buggies and getting around the property, we never waited more than a few minutes to get up and down the hill. For the money, the Amari is a home run. Luxury at the fraction of the cost in a similar property in the US. It’s a short walk in to town, or take a tuk-tuk for $6. There was always one waiting at the lobby. There are two other pools, an amazing Italian restaurant and room service was great. The people working here bend over backward to make sure everything is just right. Thank you Amari!"

"Location on Kata Noi made for a relaxing stay. Mostly families, couples and singles, so no loud beach crowd. The beach was powdery white sand, the water inviting with 2 no-boat areas sectioned off for swimmers. Quite an array for the complimentary breakfast. Staff easily assisted with day trips and activities. Housekeeping staff is the best, making sure guests have everything they need. In addition to a gorgeous beach, there are a number of pools. Recommended!"

"Clean hotel close to the heart of Old Town and walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops. View of the water in the distance from our room. Everything was very clean. Staff was helpful and courteous in assisting us with getting a working key card and figuring out how to use the safe in the room. I would stay here again."
