Excellent location for the village and Saturday Market... easy walking everywhere and just a short drive to the plethora of beaches and tourist activities. The outdoor bath was so great on a starry night.... And I couldn't believe how quiet the place was, considering it's on a main road.... Would I stay here again... absolutely!"

"Lovley long weekend escape during the school holidays. This is a lovely place that would be great in summer etc with a nice deck and outdoor areas. We were there in July school holidays and it rained most of the time however house was nice and warm (including heaters for kids rooms) and a handy but quiet location. Would recommend."

"Very clean and comfortable. Good bed and shower. Plenty of good quality linen. For a longer stay clothes storage might be an issue as most of the wardrobe (could do with more hangers), bedside tables and chest of drawers were taken up with the owner's personal belongings. Our stay was 2 weeks so we kept our suitcases open on the bed in the other bedroom (which is not included in the let). "Handy location to the beach with lovely views. Great to have two bathrooms - and the shower pressure is fantastic, good kitchen and comfortable lounge area. The host was generally very responsive. Unfortunately there was a terrible musty smell that we could not get rid of - and a few maintenance issues that needed to be looked at - eg outside light not working, problems with the dishwasher (which my husband fixed) and a couple of other things which we also fixed. "This is a fantastic wee bach within walking distance of Orewa and the fab beach and activities there but nice and quiet and not touristy at all. Super comfy beds, really hot water, lovely garden with deck and shade. Strong wifi perfect for non-stop Zoom meetings while my family slept in or caught up there social media (sadly, I had to work in the mornings). Well equipped kitchen for two couples, a small family, or whomever. We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked our next stay for just 2 weeks...
